When Noise Falls Silent, Purpose Finds Its Path

He sat in his room ,with a cup of coffee and a slice of toast reading a romantic novel savoring his leisure time . It was all going well when he suddenly realized he actually preferred hot piping tea with waffle reading a non-fiction in an open balcony . This comfort of choice got diluted into the abundance .

As soon as he got his preferences , he began to question his senses . The table mirrored his mind , two cold cups of beverages , two stale plates of breakfast , two books open yet unread . The abundance of choices burred the clarity in his mind . The time which felt serene now felt absurd . In trying to please every senses , he dulled them all together .

Too much involvement of senses can steals your time . The eyes would look for one distraction after another , the tongue demanding every taste and your body looking for comfort at every turn . This might look like relishing multiple enjoyments but ends up wasting hours , leaving mind cluttered and restless .

You thought you controlled the senses – sight, sound, taste, touch, and smell but they ended becoming your masters and pulling your attention away from your purpose . You mind is always lost in indulgence because you become slave to your senses because loss of control rarely comes from weakness, it always arrives dressed as abundance .

The man who knew what he wanted now stands bewildered , not because of his weakness but has too much on his plate . Endless simulation by your senses dulls the instinct that once pointed north; the sixth sense – intuition, clarity, inner direction.

People often look stagnation as decay -like stagnant water breeds disease. Still in the realm of senses , what looks stagnant is actually very potent . Stillness is not the absence motion but its actually being devoid of noise. When there is absence of noise , you tend to observe , absorb and align yourself to the purpose .

To achieve the sixth sense , is not to see the unseen , but to see the things clearly . As soon as the noise made by your five senses quite down , the mins stops going after things and starts perceiving .

You intuition get sharpened and you start seeing patterns and purpose slowly stops looking like a goal but starts acting like gravity and pulling you towards itself .

The senses no longer rule , they serve . Nothing feels random , you work in rhythm with your thoughts ,actions and intentions . In this state , you don’t go to find your purpose but rather your purpose finds you .

When the five senses fall silent, the sixth awakens, and purpose moves without a call.“- Unknown
